Why Donations are needed

 

Up to this point I have used my personal funds along with a few small donations for expenses that are beginning to mount...shipping, web site, shipping supplies and fees. Thanks to Ross Perot's support in covering the printing, the cards are being given out at no cost.

I'm learning quickly that every business incurs costs and those expenses have to have a funding sources. I've resisted asking for Donations, but if this wonderful program is going to continue it is going to need funds.

Finally after months of waiting and lots of paperwork...Dear American Hero is now a Federal 501 (C)(3) non-profit. Please consider making a Donation. 100% of the Donations are turned into shipping more cards. We at Dear American Hero do not take any compensation, it is all volunteer.
